UGG size guide: how they fit and which size to choose

UGG fit true to size in most models, but not all of them. The Classic boots fit regular, while the Tazz, Tasman II and women's Lowmel run small and you should go one size up. In this UGG size guide you'll find the EU, UK, US and centimetre conversion chart and how the Classic Ultra Mini, Classic Micro, Tasman, Tazz, Lowmel and Disquette fit, with the same fit information you see on the product pages at faraone.shop.

How do you read UGG sizes?

UGG is an American brand and its labels show the US size next to the European one. The European size is the one to follow: on faraone.shop every UGG model is listed in EU sizes. The confusion starts when you search "what is a size 7 UGG in EU": the answer depends on the system.

  • Women's US 7: equals EU 38;
  • Women's UK 7: equals EU 40;
  • Men's UK 7: equals EU 41;
  • Men's US 7: equals EU 40.

How do you measure your foot to choose your UGG size?

Place your foot on a sheet of paper against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the heel in centimetres. Do it in the evening, when your foot is slightly more swollen, and compare the result with the charts below. Then check how the model you've chosen fits.

Wool boot, slipper or sneaker?

How UGG fit, model by model

The construction changes the fit, and with it the size to choose.

How do the UGG Classic Ultra Mini, Mini and Micro fit?

The Classic boots fit true to size: take your usual size. They're fully lined with sheepskin: for the first few weeks your foot feels snug, then the wool compresses and the boot moulds to your foot. That's why you don't need to size up.

  • Classic Ultra Mini, Classic Mini II and Classic Micro: the shaft height changes, not the fit;
  • Without socks or with a thin sock: the wool regulates the temperature, and that's how the size should be chosen.

How do the UGG Tasman and Tazz fit?

The Tazz runs small: go one size up. The platform sole and the wraparound upper leave little room at the toe. The Tasman II, for women and men, and the nubuck Tasman also run small: go one size up. It's a slipper with a suede upper and a wool lining that wraps the whole instep. The exceptions are the Tasman Baxter and some editions such as the Tasman Smoke Plume, which fit regular: if in doubt, check the Fit field (small or regular) on the product page of the colour you've chosen.

How do the UGG Lowmel and Disquette fit?

The Lowmel are sneakers and the fit differs between women's and men's. The women's Lowmel, including the Mule, run small: go one size up. The men's Lowmel and the Lo Lowmel fit regular: take your usual size. The Disquette Heritage is an open-back clog with a platform sole and fits true to size: take your usual size.

Should you size up or down in UGG?

It depends on the model:

  • Classic and Disquette Heritage: usual size;
  • Men's Lowmel, Lo Lowmel and Tasman Baxter: usual size;
  • Tazz, Tasman II and women's Lowmel: one size up.

No UGG model should be bought bigger "just in case": a loose boot lets the heel slip and loses its shape sooner.

The right UGG size comes down to two things: the chart for the number and the model for the fit. Every product page on faraone.shop shows the Fit field (small or regular), so you're not left guessing.

On faraone.shop you'll find a selection of UGG for women and men, from the Classic Micro and Ultra Mini to the Tasman, Tazz and Lowmel, with fast shipping, free size exchanges and 30 days to return.

Shape, heel and sheepskin

The right size is the one that lasts

A boot in the right size keeps its shape and keeps out the cold for longer.

An UGG boot in the right size keeps its shape, supports the heel and lets the sheepskin do its job: insulating from the cold and regulating your foot's temperature. The wrong size shortens a boot's life more than any rain.
