Every story has a place of origin that can tell its essence. The story of Fabbrica dei Colli begins in a land of rare beauty, south of Lake Garda, among soft hills and welcoming valleys. It is here that Solferino stands, a crossroads of history and culture where oak forests alternate with vineyards. And it is here that in 1967 the Pasquetti Family company was born: a visceral passion for footwear and a natural instinct for leather goods. In these 50 years of business, many things have changed, but Dei Colli's numbers continue to be revelatory of an unwavering commitment: with about 600,000 pairs of shoes produced each year (up to 3,000 per day), the company has made about 30 million women's leather shoes to date. Starting from the year of foundation, in a short time Pasquetti specialized in women's leather boots and started production for the world's most important brands. At first they operate mainly for the German market, specializing in the main types of workmanship, including "bag" workmanship that ensures maximum comfort. In the 1990s, Russia became the new focus and production was partly relocated to Eastern Europe to ensure the company's competitiveness that the contemporary world makes indispensable. Solferino, however, always remains the beating heart: from the Lombard headquarter where the technical and administrative offices, modeling and sales department are located, 350 employees and more than 200 external jointing partners are managed and coordinated. In 2015, in addition to the continuation of the activity dedicated to global brands and distributors, the Italian company decided to start its own personal adventure. Thus was born "Fabbrica Dei Colli," the brand of women's leather footwear where the handmade component is the absolute protagonist. Those of Fabbrica Dei Colli are industrially produced shoes that, however, make the principles of craftsmanship their reference, maintaining it fully even in the handmade finishes.
