After 10 years at the helm of her eponymous footwear brand, Kat Maconie knows every pair of shoes well. As a child in the 1980s, she spent hours decorating her mother's high heels with a collection of costume jewelry; gold chains, pearls and velvet bow clips. Originally from London, her creations are imbued with the artistic and eclectic spirit of the city, where she still works and lives with her husband, daughter and dog Doris, and where all her collections are designed.
